WhitewaterTM will promote sustainability on many levels, including habitat sensitivity, water conservation and watershed protection, waste management, and energy efficiency. Our land plan blends native plantings into the existing landscape, reducing the need for watering. A controlled, community-wide lawn fertilization program will minimize surface-water impact. Homesite building envelopes will protect as much of the existing tree canopy as possible.

Furthermore, our Exploration Director will educate our residents in practical ways to simultaneously enjoy and protect Whitewater'sTM natural surroundings.

We believe sustainable development and long-term green living make both economic and environmental sense. These practices will simultaneously enhance lives and shape property values. And where they must be removed for development, a number of trees will be planted on each lot to replace them, in addition to the street trees planted at Whitewater. We are also committed to reforestation of utility line construction easements throughout the community.
