This 778-acre community is rooted around four development principles: environmental responsibility, green living, connecting with the outdoors and fostering an active lifestyle.

A variety of parks, forested zones and stream corridors are important elements of Whitewater'sTM design. A trail network provides neighborhood connectivity and quick access to recreation, future community retail, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg's new on-site elementary and middle schools.
